About
I have been interested in airplanes since I was a child in South Florida during the 1950's. We lived about a mile from the Amelia Erhart Field and the Opalocka Navy and Marine Air Stations. The training planes would fly right over our house. Some of the aircraft were T-28's, some were the Shooting Star, and Cougar Navy jets.
I remember when seeing a radial engined biplane wasn't a big deal and the far away drone of a B-36 leaving a vapor trail as it flew at altitude was not uncommon.
I attended the Dade County Aviation School which was an aviation mechanic trade school located across the street from the Miami International Airport.
My brother-in-law is a retired Delta pilot who got his career start flying helicopters in Vietnam. He has flown just about everything with wings or rotors and we share a common interest in aviation.
At home I started building a Sonex and have plans to build a Wagabond, the Piper Vagabond tube and fabric airplane. I have been working in Iraq and Afghanistan for the last four years and I am getting anxious to go home to be with family, and restart my airplane building projects.
I hope you will enjoy looking at the inventory of aircraft for sale and hope that you will find your next airplane out of the many used aircraft for sale in our inventory.
